Logistics Coordinator - Downhole Manufacturing

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for administrating and maintaining shipping and inventory reports on a daily basis. Compiles records of amount, type, and value of material stock in-hand and reconciles discrepancies in inventories.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Prepare, label, and package orders for shipment, ensuring all required documentation is complete.
2. Organize and maintain components being sent for service to outside vendors.
3. Receive, unpack, and verify orders, promptly addressing any discrepancies.
4. Issue and investigate Non-compliance Reports on all shipment errors.
5. Safely operate forklifts or overhead cranes to load/unload shipments and trucks.
6. Maintain and file proof of delivery documentation; accurately record shipment data, including weights and dimensions.
7. Contribute to safety, lean, and quality initiatives while adapting to a fast-paced work environment.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements (Minimum Education and Experience):

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Attention to detail, highly organized and able to multi-task.
3. Able to demonstrate accurate proficiency in data entry.
4. Previous experience with excel, JD Edwards considered an asset.

This position is classified as safety sensitive, and employment would be conditional on satisfactory completion of a pre-employment testing.
