PSA BDP serves over 5,000 customers, including some of the world's leading multinational companies within the chemical, retail & consumer, life sciences & pharmaceuticals, and electric vehicle & industrial verticals.

Responsibilities:

  • Clear shipments through Customs electronically
  • Act as a liaison between drivers and clients
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, preparing mail, and data entry
  • All other duties assigned
  • CCS designation an asset
  • Ability to classify products and have knowledge of applicable tariff treatments
  • Knowledge of IID and Customs entry processing, and clearance of all modes of transportation
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must be computer literate and possess a good command of the English language
  • Ability to work under pressure, to work independently, and as a team member
  • Flexibility; ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Review of LVS documents
  • Contact clients for missing information
  • Follow up with clients for missing information
  • Match documents with B3’s
  • Batch entries
  • Send entries to Cadex
  • Upon Cadex acceptance prepare and send entries for billing

Job Requirements

  • Prefer at least two (2) years of experience handling import trafficking functions with a freight forwarder/broker
  • Prefer two (2) to three (3) years of experience in customer service duties
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and organization skills and a strong attention to detail are required
  • The ability to work on a team and leadership experience is strongly desired
  • Candidate should have the ability to learn various computer programs
