A premier car dealership in Canada is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator or Transportation Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a leading name in the automotive industry, we take pride in delivering exceptional service and top-quality vehicles to our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
Plan and oversee operational logistics of supply-chain work units or departments.
Consult with the production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner.
Communicate regularly with other production coordinators, warehouse, production and construction supervisors, and purchasing and inventory clerks to coordinate activities.
Maintain inventory of materials and parts needed to complete production.
Prepare and maintain various reports on the progress of work, materials used, rates of production, and other production information using manual or computerized systems.
Requirements:
Education: College Diploma (or Bachelor Diploma in the field – is a bonus).
Experience: 1-3 years in logistics, supply chain, or transportation.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of automotive processes is an asset but not required.
