We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated and have supply-chain knowledge (education or work experience) to join our team to help with the efficient movement of goods both domestically and internationally.
We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Logistics Coordinator to help optimize our supply chain and logistics operations. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of goods both domestically and internationally from suppliers to customers.
Responsibilities
Assist with Logistics Operations: Day-to-day logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution of goods.
Supply Chain: Participate in implementing strategies to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the logistics and supply chain operations.
Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective solutions.
Inventory: Monitor stock levels, manage order fulfillment, and ensure accuracy in inventory records when required.
Compliance: Ensure all logistics operations comply with relevant regulations, including documentation, regulatory requirements, customs requirements, and customer requirements.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze and update logistics data, create and provide delivery schedules to customers, and provide support for claims and resolutions. Identify opportunities for improvements.
Problem Resolution: Address any logistical issues, delays, or discrepancies, working with internal teams and external partners to resolve them swiftly.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Recent graduates welcome to apply; on-the-job training provided.
Strong understanding of Excel, inventory management systems, and transportation methods would be an asset.
Ability to manage budgets, reduce costs, and optimize operations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to solve problems and think strategically.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance in logistics and transportation would be an asset but not required.
