The LNG Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operations of our LNG Plant. You will be responsible for operations of a wide variety of equipment such as LNG storage tanks, pumps, and more. In this role, you will:
Successful candidates will be hired as an LNG Operator 2. Progression from an LNG Operator 2 to an LNG Operator 1 ($51.04 hourly) will be dependent upon demonstrated competence to carry out all aspects of the job (typically 1 year). This will include successful completion of LNG Level 2 Competency Program and a hands-on operating test to demonstrate proficiency.
All successful candidates will be required to complete pre-employment verification, including, but not limited to, drug testing, physical assessment, reference checks, and a criminal record check. Proof of qualifications and a record of a recent driver’s abstract from the last 5 years will be required (BC Class 5 equivalent).
Must be able to work 7x7 12-hour shifts, alternating days and nights. This role may have standby, on-call, and overtime requirements based on operational needs. Must be clean-shaven as per WCB requirements.
