A permanent full-time position is available on behalf of our client to support a litigation practice, primarily in insurance litigation. The position is 35 hours per week, daytime, Monday to Friday. The work model is hybrid, with two days per week required in the office and remote work on the other days, except during scheduled in-person trainings or meetings.

Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and legal support to litigation lawyers, primarily in insurance litigation.
Draft, edit, and format various legal documents and correspondence in both official languages.
Manage deadlines, organize files, and track procedures and timelines.
Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and communications with clients and opposing parties.
Prepare files for court proceedings and ensure they are kept up to date.
Provide structured, autonomous, and rigorous support while working effectively with the team.
What you will need to succeed:
Diploma in legal secretarial studies or equivalent training.
7 to 10 years of experience as a legal assistant in litigation, ideally in insurance litigation.
Litigation experience preferred.
Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written, to effectively interact with a diverse clientele and draft documents in both languages.
Excellent proficiency with legal-related computer tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and thoroughness.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
Availability to start quickly.
