Location: Crest View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center - New Lisbon, WI

Available Positions:

• Part-time 52.5 hours per pay period; schedule between 5:30am-2:00pm (varies)

Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend - 5:30am-2:00pm

Holiday Rotation: Holiday rotation

Position Summary:

Performs and coordinates the activities of linen team engaged in sorting and washing soiled and clean linen, garments, drapes and other resident articles, as well as the activities of workers. Provides excellent laundry services and infection control.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Completes daily work assignments. Plans the wash schedule and priorities based upon production requirements and availability of workers.
2. Collecting soiled laundry, sorting laundry, washing and extracting, and routine finishing tasks (folding, spreading, hanging, delivering, stacking, etc.), allowing for interchanging of jobs to relieve monotony and maintain work flow.
3. Orients and instructs new workers. Trains new workers in the use of supplies by demonstrating use and explaining operating techniques in order to improve production and maintain work flow.
4. Inspects articles for cleanliness. Routes those not meeting standards for rewashing. Keeps articles in good repair
5. Maintains clothing inventory
6. Will report equipment problems to NHA, maintenance, or supplier Ecolab. Collaborates with other departments to provide coordinated services.
7. Other duties as requested.
