WHAT YOU’LL DO:

1. SCHEDULING & ROUTING: Plan and assign routes for drivers to their destinations with precision and care. Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods while optimizing routes and schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
2. COMMUNICATION: Maintain professional and ongoing communication with drivers, customers, and our terminals to provide real-time updates, instructions, and support as needed.
3. LOAD MANAGEMENT: Ensure loads are properly assigned and managed, including tracking and documentation of goods.
4. PROBLEM SOLVING: Address and resolve any issues that arise during transportation, such as delays or mechanical problems. Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain stellar service levels.
5. COMPLIANCE: Ensure all operations comply with industry and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and driver performance and prepare reports as needed.
6. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Provide excellent service to customers and all stakeholders, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to streamline routes and boost efficiency.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

1. Previous experience in Linehaul / Highway dispatching or logistics is required.
2. Customs / Crossborder familiarity and experience is required.
3. Proficiency with dispatch software and GPS Systems.

2. You manage multiple tasks, schedules, and records efficiently to keep things running smoothly.

4. You know how to keep accurate records and ensure compliance with regulations, with a keen eye for detail.
5. You put customers first, providing exceptional service that addresses concerns and keeps them informed, maintaining solid customer relationships.
6. You stay calm and composed under pressure in a fast-paced and often high-stress environment.
7. You are a team player, collaborating with drivers, other dispatchers, and departments to optimize routes and improve efficiency.
8. You have a solid understanding of transportation regulations such as DOT rules and are compliant and safety-minded.
