Seasonal Contract: April 21, 2025 to October 17, 2025 approximately
Located in Jasper National Park, Jasper- Alberta

Overview:
Along the Ice fields Parkway, just 5 minutes south of the Town of Jasper, you will find Becker’s Gourmet Restaurant. Inspired gourmet meals are combined with an elegant yet intimate and relaxing atmosphere. Duties, tasks and responsibilities:

1. Prepare and cook full course meals and individual dishes with modifications as requested
2. Responsible for smooth delivery of meals to dining guests, keeping food quality and consistency in line with Alberta Food Safety and Becker’s Gourmet Restaurant standards
3. Maintain quality and speed of output
4. Prepare each item on menus according to recipes and instruction
5. Follow proper safety, hygiene and sanitation practices
6. Communicate clearly with co-workers and leadership team to ensure a smooth food service operation
7. Adhere to cost control guidelines
8. Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

1. 1-3 years of experience in restaurant kitchen is required
2. Previous experience in high volume fine dining kitchen an asset
3. Able to adapt to early morning shift start times
4. Multi-tasked assignments and work effectively as a team member as well as by themselves
5. Work well under pressure and challenging situations
6. Maintain high standards of productivity and efficiency in the kitchen
7. Punctual
8. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use stairs; stools; lift a max. of 50lbs; able to withstand hot temperatures

Expected hours: 35 – 44 per week
