100 Steps Kitchen + Raw Bar is an upscale seafood and new American cuisine restaurant in Cranford, NJ. Our Executive Chef is seeking a confident, passionate, and enthusiastic Line Cook.
Qualifications:
We require at least 1 year of Line Cook Experience and/or a Culinary Certificate.
Ability to execute a recipe as it is written or shown by our chef and deliver consistent results.
Daily responsibilities include the following:
Organizational skills:
Able to plan your prep time in order to achieve maximum productivity.
Keeping the station stocked for service with all mise en place labeled and dated.
Tasting ingredients daily to ensure freshness.
Cleanliness:
Keeping your workstation clean at all times, as well as doing routine deep cleaning throughout the kitchen.
Efficiency:
Understanding the details are what makes the product.
Following recipe procedures and plating instructions.
