Job description
100 Steps Kitchen + Raw Bar is an upscale seafood and new American cuisine restaurant in Cranford, NJ. Our Executive Chef is seeking a confident, passionate, and enthusiastic Line Cook.

Qualifications:
  • We require at least 1 year of Line Cook Experience and/or a Culinary Certificate.
  • Ability to execute a recipe as it is written or shown by our chef and deliver consistent results.
Daily responsibilities include the following:

Organizational skills:
  • Able to plan your prep time in order to achieve maximum productivity.
  • Keeping the station stocked for service with all mise en place labeled and dated.
  • Tasting ingredients daily to ensure freshness.

Cleanliness:
  • Keeping your workstation clean at all times, as well as doing routine deep cleaning throughout the kitchen.

Efficiency:
  • Understanding the details are what makes the product.
  • Following recipe procedures and plating instructions.
