Light Duty Cleaner, PT

Working Title: Light Duty Cleaner, KraftHeinz, Halton Hills

Employment Status: Part-Time

Starting Hourly Rate: $18.25 per hour

New Hire Schedule: Part-time positions, including weekends

Job Summary

How you will make an impact:

You will be responsible for cleaning tasks in designated areas of a building, including floor cleaner machine experience, which would be an asset.

As a Light Duty Cleaner, You Will

1. Perform general custodial requirements and any related duties as assigned (duties include but are not limited to use of various cleaning equipment, washrooms, cafeterias, offices, vacuuming, spot cleaning, sweeping, mopping floors, emptying waste receptacles, and other common areas).
2. Restock single unit dispensers containing soap, towels, toilet tissue, and sanitary napkins. Use Tennant ride-on scrubber to clean factory floors. Ability to learn how to empty, clean, and do light maintenance on the floor scrubber.
3. Complete periodic equipment checks and additional tasks as management assigns.
4. Observe/practice all health & safety procedures and policies.

About You

1. Previous cleaning experience is an asset; Tennant Ride On Floor Scrubber experience not required but would be an asset.
2. Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
3. Must be reliable, motivated, enthusiastic, and a team player, willing to assist as needed.
4. Must be able to use cleaning equipment.
5. Physically able to carry out duties of the position. Driving experience required.
6. Must have reliable transportation.
