Parallel Health is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as an independent contractor.

As a Certified LPN With Parallel Health You Will Practice Within Your Full Scope While Providing Essential Healthcare Services In a Dynamic Clinical Environment, Including But Not Limited To

• Tuberculosis (TB) Testing
• Vaccinations & Immunizations: Travel vaccines, flu clinics, pre-employment vaccines
• Qualitative Fit Testing: for respiratory protection compliance
• First Aid Training for individuals and businesses
• Bloodwork & Specimen Collection
• Travel Health Consultations
• Drug & Alcohol Testing (pre-employment and workplace screening)
• Pre-Employment Medical Testing and assessments
• Mobile Foot Care services for individuals with chronic conditions
• Training for Unregulated Care Providers (healthcare aides, support workers)
• Genetic Testing
• Minor Clinical Procedures: Suture removals, EKGs, wound care, and other non-complex procedures
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Current LPN license in Newfoundland and Labrador and in good standing with CLPNNL
• Certification in CPR and First Aid
• Experience in primary care, occupational health, or community health is an asset
• Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills
• Excellent patient communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
