Reporting to the Wellness Manager, the Licensed Practical Nurse is a critical role within our communities as it impacts the lives of residents.

What you’ll be doing:
Provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician’s orders, the resident plan of care, and within the scope of practice of an LPN.
Ensure delivery of excellent nursing and personal care utilizing sound nursing practice principles.
Create a welcoming and supportive environment for the residents through teamwork and effective communication with staff.
Oversee resident care, including regular communication with residents and their families, and provide guidance to staff.
Supervise the Personal Support Workers/Unregulated team members assigned to the unit.
Conduct admission, readmission, and change in status assessments for residents.
Who you are:
In good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta.
Experience in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation, and/or senior health industry is an asset.
You have good judgement, the ability to identify risk, and can foster a positive work environment.
