Experience & Requirements

Must have MAT experience.

8a-4.30p, 2 days/week, rotating wknds

  • Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
  • Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Possesses an active CPR certification.
  • Remains knowledgeable about specific state laws and regulations governing practice.
  • Satisfactory completion of initial and annual clinical competencies to demonstrate aptitude as assigned by role.

A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.

Responsibilities

Below is a list of your responsibilities as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with our MAT Program with YesCare:

  • Collaborate with correctional facilities, treatment centers, and community organizations to establish MAT initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to the provision of MAT services.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff on MAT best practices, including medication administration, patient monitoring, and behavioral interventions.
  • Establish quality assurance measures to monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of MAT programs.
  • Perform delegated tasks, activities, and functions that are consistent with prior educational preparation and within scope of practice.
  • Provide direct basic care to assigned multiple clients within the structure of the healthcare program at their facility.
  • Provide safe and effective nursing care and assume responsibility for the care delivered.
  • Implement patient education based on established teaching plans.
  • Utilize a problem-solving approach as the basis for decision making.
  • Monitor offsite and onsite scheduling with a collaborative approach.
  • Monitor consult process as it relates to policy and contract.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement.
  • Participate in Patient Care Committee Meetings.
  • Monitor CARES with coordination as needed.
  • Ensure onsite and offsite follow-up care of patients along with telemedicine appointments.
  • Collaborate with Regional Medical Director, site medical providers, Regional Nursing Director, and other site nursing leaders.
  • Perform other nursing duties as assigned.
