Must have MAT experience.
8a-4.30p, 2 days/week, rotating wknds
- Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
- Possesses an active CPR certification.
- Remains knowledgeable about specific state laws and regulations governing practice.
- Satisfactory completion of initial and annual clinical competencies to demonstrate aptitude as assigned by role.
A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.
Responsibilities
Below is a list of your responsibilities as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with our MAT Program with YesCare:
- Collaborate with correctional facilities, treatment centers, and community organizations to establish MAT initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to the provision of MAT services.
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff on MAT best practices, including medication administration, patient monitoring, and behavioral interventions.
- Establish quality assurance measures to monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of MAT programs.
- Perform delegated tasks, activities, and functions that are consistent with prior educational preparation and within scope of practice.
- Provide direct basic care to assigned multiple clients within the structure of the healthcare program at their facility.
- Provide safe and effective nursing care and assume responsibility for the care delivered.
- Implement patient education based on established teaching plans.
- Utilize a problem-solving approach as the basis for decision making.
- Monitor offsite and onsite scheduling with a collaborative approach.
- Monitor consult process as it relates to policy and contract.
- Participate in Quality Improvement.
- Participate in Patient Care Committee Meetings.
- Monitor CARES with coordination as needed.
- Ensure onsite and offsite follow-up care of patients along with telemedicine appointments.
- Collaborate with Regional Medical Director, site medical providers, Regional Nursing Director, and other site nursing leaders.
- Perform other nursing duties as assigned.
