Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre has an opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN at our rural hospital, you will have the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and gain experience. Our site has a 25-bed acute care unit and a beautiful ER department. Our team provides an extensive orientation with the support of zone standardized orientations and on-site support to set you up for success. Rimbey Hospital is surrounded by beauty. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level and AHS policies and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.

Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Must be able to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and organizational skills. The successful applicant will be receptive to and participate in unit and site change initiatives.
