Library Program Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and creative Program Coordinator to oversee and implement a diverse range of programs for all ages. This role is essential in fostering a vibrant and inclusive library environment.

Responsibilities:

• Program Planning and Implementation: Develop, plan, and execute engaging programs year-round including summer reading programs, workshops, and special events.
• Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with community partners and actively promote library programs through various channels.
• Program Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of programs and gather feedback to improve future offerings.
• Administrative Tasks: Manage program budgets, maintain accurate records and statistics, and prepare reports.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Library Manager and Marketing Coordinator to ensure seamless program delivery.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in program planning and implementation
• Knowledge of library services and community needs
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

Hours of Work: 30 hours per week, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
