The Town of Drumheller is seeking a detail-oriented individual to fill the position of a Legislative Services Clerk.
Position Summary: Reporting to and under the general direction of the Manager of Legislative Services, this position plays a crucial role in supporting the municipality's organization, classification, preservation, and disposal of municipal records and assisting with other tasks in the Legislative Services Department. This position is responsible for supporting the Manager of Legislative Services and the File Clerk with implementing a reorganization of the municipality's Records Management System, which may include the implementation of a Record Retention and Disposition Schedule, a comprehensive review of current Municipal Bylaws and Policies, the creation of an interdepartmental database for the indexing of files, assistance in the standardization of digital records, and the manual sorting and disposition of archived files.
Qualifications:
This position is funded through the Canada Summer Job Grant program and therefore you must be between 18 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment and have the following qualifications:
Hours per Week: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
Start Date: May 12, 2025 End Date: September 1, 2025
Pay Scale: $18.92-$23.34/hour (CUPE 4604 Collective Bargaining Agreement)
