To support its continued growth, the company is creating a new Legal Counsel position to add a new member to its team, which already includes three lawyers.
Reporting to the Vice President of Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary, you will quickly become involved in a variety of business law matters. Specifically, you will participate in the negotiation and drafting of letters of intent, contracts, purchase and sale agreements, mergers and acquisitions, investments and financing documents, as well as the preparation of ancillary documents for commercial transactions. You will also be involved in the implementation of financing structures and capital market transactions, including public offerings and private placements. You will advise the organization on regulatory requirements applicable to publicly listed companies and ensure compliance with disclosure obligations, in collaboration with external counsel. Additionally, you will participate in the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures.
Are you someone who thrives on action and large-scale projects? If you are a member of the Quebec Bar, bilingual, and have at least four years of relevant experience in business law, including experience in corporate finance, project financing, and/or securities law, we would love to speak with you!
