Collections Clerk (Legal)
Job description
Our Client based in Downtown Toronto is a full-service law firm providing representation and assistance across multiple verticals. They are currently seeking an experienced collections Clerk to join their team.
Your new role
In this role as a Collections Clerk you will be responsible for proactively retrieving outstanding amounts owing on client accounts with a view to obtaining positive end results. Maintain accurate notes and client records. Process write-off requests, payments, update interest amounts, dockets, and other details in the firm's accounting system and assist the accounting department.
What you will need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 3 years relevant collections experience at a law firm. You should have exceptional written and communication skills, be organized and meticulous with follow-up and details, and be able to take initiative, prioritize, and multi-task. Experience in 3E Accounting is a must.
