Our client, a widely known and reputable real estate company who develops, owns and 3^rd party manages both residential and commercial properties across Canada and the US, are looking for a Leasing Consultant to join their team in Vancouver in a full-time capacity. You will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences for prospective residents. You’ll be managing leasing functions for 2 rental properties of 200+ units, one of which is in lease-up stage. This company offers growth into leadership roles as the portfolio is expected to expand to approximately 5 properties in the next 6-12 months.

Leasing Consultant Duties & Responsibilities:

• Guide prospective residents through the leasing process while providing best-in-class service.
• Respond to rental inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins.
• Enter and track leads in CRM tools, maintaining accurate records.
• Conduct competitive market surveys and recommend strategies.
• Conduct property tours and showcase available suites and amenities.
• Assist with online applications and overcome potential objections.
• Perform credit and income verifications and collect rent deposits.
• Ensure vacant suites are always “show ready.”
• Collaborate with marketing and revenue teams to maximize exposure and leasing success.
• Maintain strong knowledge of properties and the local rental market.
• Encourage resident renewals and provide feedback on leasing strategies.
• Comply with all relevant legislation (Health and Safety, WHMIS, AODA, PIPEDA, etc.).
• Support community events and represent the brand professionally.
• Meet/exceed monthly rental goals.
• Provide feedback on leasing incentives and rental rates.

Leasing Consultant Qualifications:

• Rental Property management License with BCFSA is required.
• High School Diploma is Required. Post-Secondary education in business and/or communications is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of sales and marketing experience, preferably within residential leasing functions.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• Proficiency with SalesForce and Yardi is considered a strong asset.
• Valid Drivers license and reliable vehicle is preferred.
• Outgoing personality with a passion for the real estate industry and providing excellent customer service.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Punctual, reliable and organized with great attention to detail.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking abilities.

Leasing Consultant Compensation:

This is a base salary + commissions role with an expected OTE up to $120,000 (base of $50,000-$60,000 dependent on experience) + expected commissions ranging from $40,000-$60,000 + annual performance-based bonus. You will be eligible to participate in the company benefit plan including RRSP matching, starting day 1. This role is allocated with 3 weeks vacation and offers tuition reimbursement plans and professional development courses.
