Position Summary:

The Learning Delivery Specialist at Horatio plays a vital role in implementing training programs that enhance employee capabilities and performance. Working at the intersection of training facilitation and program coordination, this role ensures employees receive high-quality learning experiences.

This position collaborates closely with Learning and Development subject-matter experts and key stakeholders to drive learning initiatives, manage logistics, and facilitate effective training sessions in virtual and in-person environments.

Responsibilities:

Facilitation and Delivery

  1. Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and learning events.
  2. Deliver training content with clarity and effectiveness, adapting to various learning styles and ensuring participant engagement.
  3. Utilize virtual training platforms and e-learning tools to deliver seamless remote learning experiences.

Training Logistics and Coordination

  1. Coordinate the logistical aspects of training programs, including scheduling, room and materials setup, and technology arrangements.
  2. Prepare and update all necessary training materials, ensuring relevance and alignment with learning objectives.
  3. Manage both virtual and physical learning environments, ensuring they are conducive to learning and engagement.

Participant Support and Engagement

  1. Provide comprehensive support to participants before, during, and after training sessions, addressing any questions or concerns.
  2. Communicate pre-training information and ensure participants are prepared for the session.
  3. Troubleshoot technical issues promptly during virtual sessions and offer hands-on assistance.

Evaluation and Continuous Improvement

  1. Collect and analyze feedback from participants, using insights to assess and enhance the effectiveness of training programs.
  2. Prepare reports on training metrics, including attendance, completion rates, and participant feedback.
  3. Stay updated on best practices in training delivery and BPO-specific learning trends to continuously improve training processes and outcomes.

Collaboration and Communication

  1. Work closely with Learning and Development subject matter experts and other stakeholders to ensure training content is current and aligned with organizational needs.
  2. Collaborate with content developers to refine training materials and ensure they meet program goals.
  3. Provide feedback and recommendations to enhance training content and delivery methods.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  1. Advanced English proficiency.
  2. Knowledge of e-learning tools, LMS systems, and virtual training software is preferred.
  3. High degree of empathy, patience, and commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  4. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey information effectively to diverse audiences.
  5. Proficient in virtual training platforms (e.g., Google Meets, Microsoft Teams, etc.) and learning management systems.
  6. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  7. Adaptive and flexible, with a problem-solving mindset.

Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  2. Relevant certifications in training or instructional design are a plus.
  3. 2+ years of experience in learning delivery, training facilitation, or similar roles, preferably in a BPO or fast-paced environment.
