We're looking for a Learning and Development Specialist to play a vital role in designing and delivering impactful learning experiences that empower our teams to excel.
Please note this is a 12-month, full-time contract position with the potential for further opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Training Design: Craft captivating and accessible digital learning content using various tools, such as Canva, Articulate 360, and Workday Learning.
- End-to-End Training: Own the entire training lifecycle from needs analysis to evaluation, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.
- Facilitation: Deliver dynamic and interactive training sessions that inspire and engage learners.
- Project Management: Juggle multiple projects with finesse, proactively identifying risks and ensuring smooth training implementation.
- Administration: Maintain up-to-date training materials and our learning portal (Go1).
- Training Documentation: Document training processes and assess the impact of training initiatives to identify areas for growth and improvement.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in adult learning program design, development, delivery, and evaluation.
- Ability to manage the content development life cycle, from needs analysis to evaluation, leveraging instructional design best practices.
- A knack for transforming complex information into engaging and impactful learning experiences.
- Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in an autonomous environment.
- Experience using Canva, Articulate 360, Workday Learning, Survey Monkey, and video editing software (Veed or Powtoons) is an asset.
- Insurance industry knowledge is a plus.
