Job description
As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats. This position is field-based.
What You’ll Do
Provide procedural support in accordance with the instructions for use/trial protocol, and best practices to facilitate procedural consistency and best clinical outcomes for complex procedures, including HV and Leadless Pacing.
Educate physicians, nurses, educators, and other health care providers on the indications and selection of patients for leadless pacing.
Be responsible for the training and education of new physician implanters.
Assist in education and training activities for Abbott personnel, including assessments and sign-offs.
Stay abreast of and communicate clinical data regarding CRM products. Coordinate, deliver, and implement programs and resources to facilitate market expansion and therapy access.
Provide market intelligence for fine-tuning of therapy training and expansion plans.
Liaise with marketing for technology improvements and next-generation product feedback.
Complete administrative reporting as assigned.
Exercise judgment in planning and organizing work; monitor performance and report status.
Use best business practices to ensure success and cost-effectiveness in areas of responsibility.
Ensure employee compliance with Abbott policies and practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
At least 3 to 5 years of leadless pacemaker technology and implant experience preferred.
Knowledge of the Canadian healthcare landscape.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to collaborate and work effectively with others.
High level of comfort navigating medical environments, including labs and hospital settings.
Proven success displaying confidence in leading and guiding customers; ability to confidently provide guidance to course correct as needed.
Familiarity with medical device industry policies, operations, and procedures.
Knowledge of CRM products and technology.
Knowledge and use of personal computer programs/applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
