JOB PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Physician Services, the Lead Physician Recruiter’s focus is to identify, contact, and attract physicians to join Medicentres Canada Inc. to provide health care services to our patients. The Recruiter will champion our growth strategy, increasing the number of practitioners who work in partnership with Medicentres.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leveraging their own network, working with physician brokers, leveraging leads from existing physicians and staff, working with industry associations or medical schools, and conducting ‘cold calls’ to develop a pipeline of family physicians or specialists who might be interested in practicing on a part- or full-time basis with Medicentres.

Fast paced environment, where the ability to manage multiple projects and resources while working on a number of different assignments at the same time and meeting deadlines are essential. Must be able to deliver results and demonstrate good judgment under minimal supervision, in line with existing policies and best practices. High degree of focus on building physician relationships through associations and networking. Extensive regional travel is required, as is infrequent evening and weekend work.
