The Lead, Maintenance Technician will oversee all maintenance activities at the RSC to ensure that the building and surrounding property are maintained to support our corporate image. This includes protecting the health and safety of all employees and visitors, safeguarding company assets, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role will also involve improving operations by planning and scheduling maintenance activities for the building and equipment. As a working position, this role also includes any other duties assigned by management.

Work Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM MST (Fully onsite)

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

  • Direct, plan, organize, assign, and supervise maintenance and repair work for machinery, electrical and mechanical systems, and warehouse equipment.
  • Perform regular inspections, repairs, and replacements for warehouse racking, equipment, and fire systems.
  • Complete necessary repairs and maintenance to ensure warranty requirements are met.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory codes, manufacturer requirements, industry standards, and company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the building and equipment meet all safety codes and standards.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly facility that complies with AIB guidelines.
  • Coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team and ensure both staff and third-party contractors meet performance standards.
  • Maintain a safe working environment as per company requirements.

What you have to offer:

Required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Excellent mechanical, analytical, and mathematical skills
  • Comfortable working in a team environment
  • Experience with industrial refrigeration systems
  • Knowledge of sprinkler or fire control systems

Preferred:

  • Experience with database and spreadsheet management
  • Understanding of the grocery product distribution process
