Lead HVAC Installer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Lead HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proficient in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, possesses excellent problem-solving skills, and can work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

1. Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential settings.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment and systems.
3. Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to understand system layouts.
4. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
5. Conduct appliance repairs related to HVAC units as needed.
6. Weld components as necessary for system repairs or installations.
7. Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to ensure project completion on time.
8. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory logs.

Experience

1. Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role is preferred.
2. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to build, plumb, boil, and maintain various HVAC systems.
3. Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations related to HVAC work.
4. Ability to work with various tools and equipment used in the installation and repair of HVAC systems.
5. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
