Lead Hand Pools

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for landscape construction. As a Lead Hand, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role requires hands-on involvement in various landscaping projects, including building and installing pools and their mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of landscape construction workers, providing guidance and support.
• Plan and coordinate daily tasks to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Be hands on with the installation andconstruction of pools and related hardscapes.
• Assist in building structures and features, ensuring adherence to design specifications and bylaws.
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to maintain safety standards and quality control.
• Train new employees on proper construction and instalation techniques and equipment usage.
• Communicate effectively with team members to foster a collaborative work environment.

Skills

• Proven leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams in a landscaping or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of landscape construction practices and inground pools.
• Ability to build structures and features with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey instructions and feedback.
• Problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise during projects.
• A passion for landscapes, pools and the outdoors, with a commitment to quality workmanship.

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 8-10 months

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Additional pay:

• Overtime pay

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Landscape construction: 2 years (preferred)
