Sr. Program Manager / Lead for the Enterprise Resource Group Program: Strategic development, implementation, and management of the Enterprise Employee Resource Group Program. Collaborates with ERG leaders, employees, and executive sponsors to ensure the success and impact of the ERGs in alignment with BMO's zero barriers to inclusion strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program development and management
- Leadership and collaboration - partner with ERG leaders to define goals, provide frameworks and templates for communications, event planning; facilitate regular meetings with ERG leaders to provide guidance, share best practices and address challenges; collaborate with executive sponsors and senior leadership to garner support and resources for ERG initiatives.
- Training & development - develop and deliver training programs for ERG leaders to enhance their leadership skills and effectiveness.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and events that support the personal and professional growth of ERG members.
- Communication and Engagement - primary point of contact for ERG-related inquiries and support; develop and implement communication strategies to increase awareness and engagement in ERG activities.
- Measurement & reporting - establish metrics to measure the impact and effectiveness of the Enterprise ERG Program; regularly analyze data and provide reports to senior leadership on ERG activities, participation, and outcomes; identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the ERG program's impact.

- Develops, promotes, maintains & manages designated HR program(s), performing periodic reviews, analyzing program outcomes, providing insights and making recommendations for enhancements/changes as required.

- Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
- Collaborates across BMO to develop communications strategies and ensure consistency of messaging, in order to positively influence or change behavior.
- Leads or participates in defining the communication plan designed to positively influence or change behavior; develops tailored messaging; and identifies appropriate distribution channels.
- Leads the execution of operational programs; assesses and adapts as needed to ensure quality of execution.
- Plans and controls unit operating expenses in accordance with forecasts.
- Develops and manages comprehensive information management systems; designs and/or leads initiatives to improve processes, analysis, and reporting.
- Oversees the design, development, and implementation of tools and training required to deliver business results.
- Acts as the day-to-day contact for vendors; supports the implementation, maintenance, and sustainment of vendor solutions.
- Leads/oversees the management of vendor relationships and provides guidelines for execution; ensures that all agreements are met as per requirements.
- Leads/supports contract negotiations with vendors, balancing cost, risk, and performance.
- Supports the development of the program strategy ensuring that key goals are delivered and are aligned to overall BMO goals.
- Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
- Provides advice and guidance to assigned business/group on implementation of solutions.
- Supports the management of the HR program, including developing program components, promoting the program, and ensuring the execution of all program components.
- Designs measurable sustainment strategies including assessing and recommending mitigations for industry/segment-specific risks and prioritizing opportunities presented by internal and external stakeholders.
- Investigates, analyzes, documents, and mitigates program risks and advises any issues or concerns to senior leaders.
- Understands the purpose of the program and ensures that stakeholder needs are understood and integrated into the development & management of the program.
- Analyzes the impact and effectiveness of the program through periodic reviews of the programs and makes recommendations to improve processes, procedures, and/or policy.
- Breaks down strategic problems, and analyzes data and information to provide program insights and recommendations.

- Gathers and formats data into regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
- Monitors and tracks program performance, and addresses any issues.
- Manages the change management for any enhancements/changes and ensures that appropriate plans are in place to execute effectively.
- Tracks exception requests and corresponding approvals.
- Participates in the management of vendor relationships; ensures regular reviews are in place, key performance indicators are monitored, service level agreements are met and service costs are kept within budget.
- Oversees project activities to ensure deadlines are met and program solutions are delivered as scheduled.
- Leads/participates in the design, implementation, and management of core program processes.
- Builds change management plans of varying scope and type; leads or participates in a variety of change management activities including readiness assessments, planning, execution, evaluation, and sustainment of initiatives.
- Participates in assigned strategic initiatives impacting the overall program, providing insight and analytical support.
- Continuously monitor industry developments and continuously update programs to ensure they are competitive and effective.
- Manage the budget associated with the program, in addition to service costs.
- Operates at a group/enterprise-wide level and serves as a specialist resource to senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Applies expertise and thinks creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to problems that can be complex and non-routine.
- Implements changes in response to shifting trends.

Qualifications:
- Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Program management skills - In-depth/Expert.
- Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience, and industry knowledge.

Salary: $84,000.00 - $156,000.00
Pay Type: Salaried
The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.
Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
