Lead Data Engineer

The Enterprise Change Management Transformation & Strategy team is seeking an SRE automation engineer who has experience working across the full stack, building automation solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth by streamlining IT Change Management processes and proactively takes actions to optimize operations.

This individual will leverage automation-driven control monitoring and control assurances for ITIL technologies including ServiceNow, Tableau, and home-grown application development. You will have the tools and resources needed to achieve extraordinary results that render a significant impact extending beyond the boundaries of traditional SRE roles. What will you do?

1. Maintain and improve upon existing automation applications and enact new automation initiatives that increase the efficiency of the change management team.
2. Create and maintain ML and generative AI Models.
3. Collect and document users' requirements and develop logical specifications. Research, evaluate and synthesize technical information to design, develop and test application.
4. Develop new features in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements.
5. Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards for code quality and application design.
6. Maintain TSS compliance for all environments including sub systems (such as DBaaS instances and micro services) and ensure vulnerabilities are resolved.
7. Support and lead the implementation of automation use cases and provide support for SRE processes and standards.
8. Participate in meetings and training sessions to review and understand new technology and service deployments.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

1. Coding experience in Python, SQL and NoSQL database programming languages.
2. Ability to analyze data using Python libraries like Numpy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
3. Experience creating and maintaining Tableau dashboards.
4. Experience developing, testing, and troubleshooting automation scripts using REST APIs.
5. Experience working with DevOps CI pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, Helios) and associated security protocols.
6. Ability to create a seamless and intuitive User Interface.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), time management and prioritization skills.
8. Experience of code review, creating test plans and test cases written by peers.
9. Experience with architecture / process workflow analysis and design.

Nice-to-Have:

1. Familiarity with monitoring tools like ELK stack.
2. Familiarity with ITSM.
3. Experience with SRE (Site reliability Engineering) Tools such as PagerDuty.
4. Familiarity with ServiceNow and its development environment.
