As a core member of our Intelligent Automation (IA) team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

About You:

  • 3+ years of experience working as a business analyst in an agile environment, 1 year as a lead, or equivalent financial services industry experience
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex business problems in simple terms and present solutions
  • Able to actively listen, understand and learn
  • Design, evaluate, and monitor key metrics with business teams
  • Assets:
    • Experience with Kpoint
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365
    • Familiar with Visio and Draw.io
    • Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence

Your Role:

The Lead Business Analyst for the Intelligent Automation and RnD team in Transformation Office (TO) will be a pivotal member responsible for collaborating with various stakeholders including the Intelligent Automation (IA) and Research and Development (R&D) teams to gather requirements for automation projects/Proof of Concepts (PoCs) that will drive development of innovative solutions for our marquee clients. This role demands effective communication, coordination, and leadership skills to manage calls, understand pain points, prepare detailed reports, and create engaging newsletters and marketing materials that highlight the impact of the team to the organization. You will work with the Process Design team, Process Adoption team, business unit representatives, and software vendors to optimize and digitize operational processes in order to deliver position bottom-line results for Citco.

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and success criteria.
  • Evaluate business processes for potential transformation and automation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and technical teams to brainstorm and assess solution feasibility.
  • Develop wireframes, mockups, and low-fidelity prototypes to visualize business requirements and workflows.
  • Document and communicate proposed solutions' business outcomes and benefits.
  • Establish best practices, standard templates, and project governance guidelines for executing PoCs/prototype/solution builds.
  • Collaborate with Process Owners and Platform teams to implement successful prototypes into production.
  • Maintain and groom the product backlog.
  • Organize and lead Scrum meetings, including stand-ups, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Mentor and train other team members.
  • Preparing comprehensive reports to update stakeholders on project status and outcomes.
  • Prepare and present updates to steering committee/senior leadership team.
  • Prepare communications (newsletters and kpoint videos) to showcase the achievements and innovations of the team.
  • Assist with marketing products developed through IA and R&D teams.
