Position Overview

We are seeking a Law Clerk with a specialty in Corporate Law to join our London, Ontario office. In this role, you'll work closely with our Corporate Services team, providing legal and administrative support on a wide range of corporate and compliance matters. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, growing company with a strong team culture and a Member-first mindset.

You will perform your duties and responsibilities for the Company primarily from an office located in the Company’s location in London, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file corporate documents, including incorporations, amendments, dissolutions, and annual returns.
  • Maintain corporate records and minute books in compliance with federal and provincial regulations.
  • Draft resolutions, agreements, and correspondence pertaining to corporate matters.
  • Work collaboratively with FBC colleagues across the country and maintain strong relationships with Members, providing exceptional support.
What You Bring

Education and Experience

  • Law Clerk or Paralegal diploma.
  • 2+ years of experience in a corporate law environment.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate structures, filings, and provincial and federal legislation requirements.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal management software.
