As part of the Big White Housekeeping team, you are responsible for the daily coordination of ensuring that clean linens are supplied to the entire hotel. You will be working alongside, supervising and evaluating the work of staff to ensure we meet the accommodation standard. Responsibilities include storing, washing, drying, pressing and folding, and removing stains. This position requires strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Assist the Laundry Manager in the daily running of the department
- Support and assist in training initiatives for all current and new employees
- Prepare work assignments
- Inspect and maintain all laundry room equipment
- Supervise laundry staff while they are performing their duties
- Conduct daily morning meetings with laundry staff and daily organization of staff
- Help with training of all laundry staff
- Stock and organize linen shelves and chemical rooms
- Understand how everything operates in guest laundry (washers, dryers, etc.)
- Assist with laundry
- Ensure the laundry area is clean and tidy at all times
- Fulfill tasks in a time-sensitive manner
- Follow all Health & Safety protocols and procedures
- Assist guests with all questions and requests
- All other duties as required

Details:
- Fulltime, working up to 32-36 hrs. a week
- Hourly wage $22.00 - $25.00
- Staff accommodation onsite, for approved applicants
- Nov 2025 - April 2026
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
