Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Technician to join our team at Lawns and Beyond Landscape Solutions Inc. in Marshfield, PE.

Tasks

• Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
• Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease
• Plant and move trees
• Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants
• Remove litter and garbage
• Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees
• Lay sod or seed
• Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
• Assist with landscape constructions
• Apply fertilizers
• Rake and collect refuse

Experience and Skills

• Landscaping experience in park and recreation sites
• Experience with sod cutter, small engine equipment, pick-up truck, chain saw, and tractor mower
• Specialized environmental skills and knowledge

Certificates, Licences, and Safety

• Valid driver's licence
• Own transportation
• Driver's validity licence check
• Safety equipment/gear including steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, and gloves

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• Handling heavy loads
• Physically demanding
• Ability to distinguish between colours
• Combination of sitting, standing, walking
• Bending, crouching, kneeling
