AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Reporting to the Foreperson, Construction, assists the Supervisor in completion of landscaping projects. This position directs work crews.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
EDUCATION:
High school (Grade 12) graduation plus an additional program of over one year and up to two years in a landscape technician program or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
Over two (2) years up to, and including four (4) years in landscaping or horticulture.
OTHER SKILLS AND ASSETS:
A valid, non-probationary Ontario Class AZ or ARZ driver’s licence. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
**Preference will be given to students that have a permanent residency in Brampton.
**Various tests and/or exams may be administered as part of the selection criteria.
