Specializing in urban revitalization, streetscapes, urban parks, green infrastructure, nature parks, and ecological restoration projects, ISL’s Landscape Architecture team is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Landscape Architect to join our Burnaby office. The successful candidate will work in a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment with the firm’s landscape architects, urban designers, engineers, and environmental managers.

A Little About You

  • Your professional strengths and ability to deliver exceptional design and project management services
  • Your professional goals and career trajectory

Your resume and portfolio should show us:

  • University degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution
  • Registered Landscape Architect or eligible and willing to register with BCSLA
  • Minimum of 3 years of landscape architecture office experience
  • AutoCAD and graphic production skills (Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Rhino, V-Ray, etc.)
  • Work experience in BC

Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate is a team player with a desire to learn and grow their professional skills and their career. Our work is multi-disciplinary and requires excellent communication and coordination with a variety of internal and external project stakeholders.

While working as a Landscape Architect at ISL you can expect to be involved with:

  • generating concept design, detail and construction drawing packages 
  • managing projects of varying scales depending on your background and skills
  • communicating and coordinating with other ISL disciplines, clients, and contractors to deliver a broad range of multi-disciplinary projects 
  • providing contract management and construction administration services

Depending on your experience level, the salary range for this position (based on a 40-hour work week) is:

  • $76,000 - $90,000
