SSR Mining – Seabee Gold Operation is hiring for a Labourer, Site Services.

About Your New Role:

Reporting to the Supervisor, Site Services, the Labourer, Site Services, will be responsible for completing manual labour activities around site. You will be required to perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Remove trash and drop at waste management facilities.
• Unload planes and other incoming freight.
• Perform daily surface pump checks.
• Tailings and reclaim line insulating and maintenance.
• Complete projects within allotted period.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Ensure all work is done in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform other duties as required.

Your Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to understand spoken and written instructions.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to use electric and air power tools.
• Ability to work closely with others.
• Mental awareness to be able to work around potential hazards.
• Able to work in conditions of extreme cold or heat.
• Must have knowledge to use MSDS information sheets.

Your Education and Experience:

• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Previous related experience, preferably working in a remote fly-in campsite.

About Our Working Conditions:

This position has a schedule of two (2) weeks on, two (2) weeks off at our remote camp in northern Saskatchewan, working 11-hour days with the possibility of unscheduled overtime required on occasion. You will be required to fly in fly out of the site on designated days from a pick-up point in either Saskatoon, Prince Albert or La Ronge.
