Job BriefThe Transportation Operations department, Engineering Section, is accepting applications for two (2) non-permanent term labourer positions.
LABOURER II – Transportation (Traffic Engineering Section)Transportation Department(Term)As a valued part of our team, you will be involved in a variety of traffic operations related duties. Under the direction of our Traffic & Signage Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to engage in all labour-related aspects of the work! Your duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Minor repairs and replacement of lights and other parts on electronic message boards
- Cleaning and organizing traffic stores
- Assisting in the pavement markings program
- Assisting in the setup and takedown of temporary traffic control
- Assisting in the sign shop and installation of signs
WAGE: $23.00 per hour
TERM: Starting on April 30, 2025, for 4 months.

- Bonus Points: Prior related experience in a Transportation Operations environment or outside labourer setting will be an asset.
To Be Considered You MUST:- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Hold a valid, unrestricted Class 5 Operator’s license with no more than 5 demerit points (GDL Licenses will not be considered)
