Your function

I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a manufacturing company located in Varennes, for a Chemical Technician - Permanent position - 40h -

Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, you will be in charge of the following tasks:

1. Analysis of raw materials and finished products
2. Batch production analysis
3. Certificates of analysis
4. Reagent preparation
5. Data entry and report compilation
6. Sample shipping
7. Participation in Research projects
8. Use of ICP

Your profile

1. Experience in water treatment (an asset)
2. Have a college diploma in laboratory technology or a university degree
3. Member of OCQ (a strong asset!)
4. Literate in Système D (mandatory)
5. Literate in SAP (strong asset)
6. Literate in MS Office
7. Spoken and written French, English (asset)
8. At least 1 year experience relevant to the position

Salary: $60k-$67k + 5% annual bonus, depending on experience

2 weeks vacation, negotiable

Rotating day and evening schedule:
Week 1: 6am to 2pm
Week 2: 7am to 3:30pm
Week 3: 10am to 6pm
Week 4: 2am to 8pm

* Communication avec des clients internationaux : Une partie de nos clients étant basés à l'étranger, vous serez amené(e) à échanger régulièrement avec eux en anglais, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit.
* Collaboration avec des partenaires anglophones : Vous devrez collaborer avec des fournisseurs et partenaires anglophones pour le suivi des commandes et la gestion des contrats.
