Anticipated Shift: Days; Evenings; Weekends. Current hours are Monday 4-8pm, Tues/Wed 9am-12pm.

Annual Base Hours: 2080

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Laboratory Assistant training
2. Two years experience in a medical laboratory
3. Excellent organizational skills
4. Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
5. Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team
6. Enjoy working with the public
7. Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office
8. Experience with electronic medical records (particularly Accuro) is preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Performs phlebotomy and processes specimens on site and prepares specimens for transport
2. Perform procedures in urinalysis, haematology, and biochemistry
3. Responsible for the delivery of accurate and reliable test results

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Satisfactory Criminal Record, Child Abuse, and Adult Abuse Registry checks
2. Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends
