Job description

Key Accountabilities

  1. Identifies and helps develop work process improvements and efficiencies for the maintenance processes.
  2. Executes maintenance and repair of general equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  3. Ensures that the required level of productivity, quality, safety and environmental standards are achieved.
  4. Ensures all the Areas work is completed in line with the Discipline Specialists Best practice guidelines.
  5. Establishes and facilitates teamwork and knowledge transfer between the area and specialist groups.
  6. Coaches Technicians, and works with them to develop training plans.
  7. Ensures maintenance activities are carried out to the highest safety and environmentally ethical standards.
  8. Understands plant & instrument diagrams.

Required and Preferred Skills and Experience

  1. Intermediate level, typically 3-5 years of experience.
  2. Provides technical/functional and/or administrative support.
  3. General working knowledge of specific systems, terminology and procedures used within the department.
  4. Performs routine tasks.
  5. Able to solve problems and make basic decisions.
