Job Description

Responsible for understanding the basic tenets of Rooms Merchandising and integrating that knowledge with Selective Selling Techniques to sell the right rooms to the right customers at the right rate.

Responsibilities

  1. Ensure that all Moments of Service standards are met
  2. Create and modify reservations
  3. File 3rd party reservations and back-up any ESP & Sales Reservation inquiries
  4. Post advance deposits on all prepaid reservations within 24 hours of booking
  5. Process 800 number reservations with use of Daily Reservations Report
  6. Process and research travel agency commissions
  7. Monitor multiple booking reservations and remove from system
  8. Monitor FIT mailbox & 3rd party channels via extranet
  9. Create and maintain transient room block. Ensure all reservations have correct billing, and all other necessary information
  10. Take reservation calls from customers and OmniRez agents requesting on-property assistance or any other calls pertaining to room reservations
  11. Detail package reservations with appropriate notes and maintain Dynamic packages and MyUpgrades

Qualifications

  1. Customer service experience required
  2. High school diploma or equivalent
  3. Must be proficient in Excel, Outlook and other general computer skills
  4. Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external guests
