Knowledge Based Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Creating CAD (Catia/NX) parametric math models for commodities using Knowledge Based Engineering template modeling techniques.
• Extensive knowledge of Catia/NX modeling and a background in developing, packaging, and synthesizing complex vehicle systems.
• Dictating architecture and construction techniques, creating master development, packaging, and requirement sections, defining master template modeling structures, and training other Catia/NX engineers on modeling techniques and architecture.

Requirements:

• 5+ Years of CAD modeling with Siemens NX
• 5+ Years of Robust Modeling with Siemens NX
• 5+ Years of Parametric CAD Modeling with Siemens NX
• 5+ Years of Body in White (Automotive) Engineering Experience
• Strong English-speaking skills
• Strong Engineering Design Project Presentation skills
• Vehicle or component launch experience (in-plant)

Preferred Requirements:

• 7+ Years of Body in White and/or Closures CAD Engineering experience.
• 7+ Years of body experience
• 7+ Years of CAD Parametric Modeling with Siemens NX

Education:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Mechanical)
