Job Overview: As a technician with APW, you will play a vital role in our operations. Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously clean and maintain kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, ducts, and fans. This role is crucial in ensuring our clients' kitchens meet fire and health code standards, thereby safeguarding their operations against fire hazards and health risks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct detailed cleaning of kitchen exhaust systems (hoods, ducts, fans) to ensure adherence to fire and health codes.
2. Operate specialized cleaning equipment and employ professional techniques to remove grease, dirt, and debris effectively.
3. Collaborate with team members to complete projects with a focus on efficiency and quality.
4. Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, maintaining a safe work environment.
5. Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and submit detailed reports as necessary.

Qualifications:

1. Experience in kitchen exhaust cleaning or related fields is beneficial, but not a requirement. Comprehensive training is provided.
2. Demonstrated strong work ethic, reliability, and a desire to learn.
3. Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
4. Physically fit to handle equipment and perform manual tasks.
5. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
6. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

With an average of 40 minutes of travel time to and from job sites, 20-25% of your clocked hours are spent driving, and we pay you from the moment you suit up at our yard to when you clock out.
