Mon Pitou Bistro & Bakery is hiring a morning Kitchen All-Rounder to join our team in Vancouver. This is a mixed-role emphasizing hot line and baking activities. This dynamic role requires familiarity with cooking and baking, acting as an all-rounder (approximately 40% baking, 30% hot line, 30% prep).
*Must be able to start at 6 am or earlier with Saturday and Sundays availability (non-negotiable)*
Responsibilities:
Prepare, bake and cook menu items as directed
Lead or assist on the hot line station during prime lunch hours
Proof and execute morning bake-off for fresh pastries
Assemble sandwiches for daily sales
Set up station before or after service
Assist with catering orders
Prepare meals and meal kits (vacuum seal, labelling, packaging)
Prepare products for the retail program (salad bowls, rice bowls, etc)
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and properly
Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes such as deep clean duties
Assist with dishwashing
Receive orders through thorough inspection and proper storage
Qualifications & Requirements:
Commit to a 6 am start or earlier (mandatory, non-negotiable)
Commit to at least 4 days/week (Saturday & Sunday mandatory, non-negotiable)
Flexible availability to cover more days when needed is a bonus
