Overview

We are recruiting for a FULL-TIME Lead Hand in the Baking department for afternoon shift. Starting wage begins at $18.74 with progression to the permanent rate of $25.41.

Key Ingredients

• Aids supervisor with production problems
• Responsible for setting up and operating laminators, sheeters, ovens etc.
• Inspect raw material, verify lot codes to ensure FIFO and complete required production and quality paperwork.
• Work closely with baking team members to ensure product quality
• Assist with production line set up and changeovers
• Properly lockout and restart equipment according to safety procedures
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete minor adjustments
• Responsible for maintaining food safety standards and reporting food safety issues to QA immediately.
• Assist machine operators/mixers/oven captains and crew with other duties as assigned.
• Ensure all Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed
