Job description

As a Transplant Key Account Manager for our oral ROCK2 inhibitor launched in Canada in 2023, you’ll play a vital role in bringing a game-changing treatment to patients suffering from chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD). Our ROCK2 inhibitor has shown promising results in clinical trials and has been adopted into clinical practice by clinicians, with the potential to improve the quality of life for these patients. Focusing on transplant centers of excellence, you will work with multidisciplinary care teams applying your expertise in building and maintaining key relationships. You’ll be instrumental in driving sales through cross-functional integrated key account plans and ensuring that patients have access to this life-saving treatment. Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop comprehensive key account plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams, adapting and seizing new opportunities to bring value to customers.
  2. Orchestrate the key account plans, aligned with brand strategies, supporting customer needs to maximize sales performance in the short and long term, while looking for new opportunities.
  3. Develop the Rezurock value proposition to healthcare providers through an omnichannel approach, leveraging digital technology and new ways of working, to communicate clinical, technical, and therapeutic information.
  4. Build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial networks and trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders with the aim of improving patient care.
  5. Understand customer needs, the competitive environment, and the Transplant healthcare system, sharing market information with the relevant sales manager and team members.
  6. Review weekly/monthly data reports to analyze performance, identify trends, and adapt plans to seize new opportunities or solve problems.
  7. Perform all duties in accordance with Sanofi Canada’s policies and all applicable laws and regulations.

About You

Main Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree – Science or Business degree an asset.
  2. 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
  3. Hospital/Academic Institutional sales experience within the Hematologic Oncology Bone Marrow Transplant and/or Solid Organ Transplant field is preferred.
  4. Experience working with Patient Support Programs is an asset.
  5. Knowledge and comfort with digital technologies, experience working in an omnichannel model.
  6. Flexibility, agility, and speed of adaptation to new situations in a competitive market.
  7. Analytical skills, ability to understand how to increase net sales/profitability and return on investment.
  8. Ability to use market information, clinical and medical datasets to engage in high-value-add clinical discussions with healthcare providers.
  9. Holder of a driver’s license.
  10. Proven track record of sales excellence.
  11. Successful development and implementation of tactical business plans in sales objectives.
  12. Experience collaborating with thought leaders within key accounts.
  13. Ability to work independently, have a sense of service, be client and relationship-focused, and accept team support in a timely manner.
  14. A passion for proactive, continuous learning on disease state, treatment of cGVHD, and broader Hematological Oncology & Solid Organ Transplant therapeutic areas.
  15. Excellent oral and written presentation skills in English & French is required.

  1. This position is eligible for a company car through the Company’s FLEET program.
  2. Candidates must complete all fleet safety training and must maintain an acceptable driving record regarding accidents and incidents.
