What to Expect:
We are looking for a Key Account Manager for a 12-month contract based at our Mississauga office reporting into the Director, National Accounts. This role will be working on a strategic key account within the Loblaw Grocery Channel.

A day in the life:
As a Key Account Manager, you will be working on a strategic key account within the Loblaw Channel. This role is a great opportunity to grow and develop your sales experience. You will be involved in strategic planning in line with the growth and success of Nestlé, as well as promotional activities, monitoring sales targets and forecasts.

You will also:

1. Develop and achieve the sales business plan for the business by implementing the strategy, managing total trade spend by category, and achieving agreed shelf, distribution, and promotional targets.
2. Analyse, identify, monitor, and address specific issues to achieve Purina’s goals for sales, commercial spend, share, distribution, and operating budgets.
3. Develop and implement trade promotion strategies and tactical plans with the customer.
4. Proactively monitor and update the customer's overall business plan, including managing trade budgets, spending, and volume to achieve all sales objectives versus plan.
5. Drive pre and post promotion evaluation to increase ROI/ROS.
6. Be accountable for the strategic account plan, based on internal objectives, marketing, business development, and shopper marketing plans, as well as external competitive marketplace issues and opportunities.

Role Requirements:

1. 3+ years as a sales leader with a proven track record of delivering business results, within the CPG industry; Pet Category experience is an asset.
2. Managing P&L and trade spend experience is required.
3. Effective communication, negotiation and strong leadership skills are required to express analytics and deliver presentations to various levels within the organization and externally to customers.
4. Proficient in gathering data and storytelling to deliver actionable insights.
5. Advanced computer skills, specifically with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. SAP and Power BI is an asset.
6. Post secondary education in Business Administration or any related field.
7. Solid hands-on experience in an analytical role, previous experience in a financial analysis or a planning role.
