The DocuShare Junior Technical Project Manager plays a key role in ensuring a positive client experience within the exciting and fast-growing Content and Capture Business. This individual takes responsibility and accountability for ensuring that the project produces the required results to the required scope, milestones, quality and budget.
Reporting directly to the President, the Junior Project Manager is accountable for the project; delivering the expected and agreed outcomes identified in the project initiation/planning artifacts, e.g. the business case, project initiation document, etc.
Qualifications
Education: University degree in Business, IT, Service Outsourcing, or a related field from a recognized educational institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications & Experience
Professional Qualifications: PMI, PMP, PRINCE, or equivalent preferred, or aspires to obtain these.
- Highly Proficient with project tracking tools (e.g., Agile, ZenDesk, Excel, Microsoft Project)
- 2-3 + years of experience leading projects for service outsourcing to required scope, quality, timescale and budget.
- Ability to work independently, with limited supervision
- Experience managing medium scale projects.
- Demonstrated experience instituting change management with clients.
- Experience managing virtual teams of highly skilled project and/or transition managers and developing skills to standards
- Ability to work 8am to 5pm US EST

Portfolio (Customer and Financials)
- Manages the delivery of project, ensuring that project produces results to required timeframes, scope, milestones, quality and budget.
- Effectively manages and communicates risk within project plan.
- Ensures all members of project team have robust project plan per standards.
Process
- Responsible for ongoing planning and coordination of required resources.
- Develops and maintains a relationship with client team/project manager.
- Ensures all project management deliverables are maintained and shared appropriately - risk log, project documentation and measurement for client and business case.
- Supports communication plan to ensure consistent understanding of transition progress vs. plan with all key stakeholders. This includes ensuring relevant stakeholders are informed on any significant risk or changes with defined decisions or actions executed.
- Ensures project timeframes and costs are understood by all relevant stakeholders.
- Leads defined project status updates.
- Ensures appropriate sign-off and acceptance of project deliverables.
People
- Ensures resources planned within projects per standards/business case/SOW.
- Actively participates in customer discovery, requirements gathering, discussions and presentations.
- Provides customer education and thought leadership on best practices and Workflow Automation related offerings/solutions throughout the sales process.
- Helps sales evolve, define, and communicate our differentiation strategy.
- Maintains visibility on and contributes to all opportunity relevant information throughout the sales cycle (requirements, services estimate, statement of work, custom presentation recordings, etc.) where appropriate.
