Job Description: Alteo is looking for a Junior SRE for a permanent position based in Montreal.
Your main role will be to participate in the smooth running and optimization of operations (payment industry), by recommending the implementation of methodological and technical solutions, while ensuring compliance with processes and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Participate in the definition of procedures to ensure service performance
Study and analyze electronic payment platform requirements
Analyze operating constraints
Industrialize production and implement the business resumption plan
Define and implement procedures
Draft qualification and patch testing procedures
Participate in customer support to meet availability and reliability commitments
Handle and process requests and incidents
Define production release requirements
Manage relations between customers and editors/service providers
Produce activity reports
Draw up maintenance action plans
Define service tasks: alarms, scheduling, backups, and planning of processing (Batch)
Participate in user support to guarantee the processing of reported anomalies
Provide technical support for users (2nd and 3rd levels)
Respond timely to operating incidents (e.g., analysis, diagnosis, and resolution)
Anticipate user needs and system evolutions
Contribute to technical documentation
Follow up on operating incidents by analyzing causes and taking associated corrective measures.
Profile:
DEC/BAC in IT or equivalent
0-3 years' experience in a similar role
Familiarity with the electronic payment industry (an important asset)
Unix server
Databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL...)
Batch and Shell scripting
File transfer station (CFT, SFTP...)
International network platforms (e.g., Edit Package Visa, Master Com...)
