Junior Project Manager

Job Description

In this role, you will be deeply involved in program management activities, assisting with release planning, development, and quality assurance milestones for upcoming customer deliverables. You will also contribute to process improvements that enhance project management methodologies, tools, and stakeholder communication.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

1. Work within a multi-site research and development organization on a portfolio that has over 1000 customers.
2. Be immersed in the day-to-day program management aspects for upcoming customer deliverables including release planning, development, and quality assurance milestones.
3. Support other team members in the development of detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones, and tracking progress against deliverables.
4. Help drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance project management practices, tools, methodologies, and stakeholder communication.

Key Skills And Experience

1. Excellent communication skills (oral and written in English)
2. Great interpersonal intelligence, can collaborate effectively across diverse teams and geographies
3. Understand software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, Agile practices, and basic project management principles
4. Results-driven, willingness to employ a creative, innovative, can-do mindset to solve problems
5. Organized, with a keen attention to detail
